Tok Khao San [Khao San Street][Thanon Khao San]

            I have some questions to you… “When someone tells you, they will go to Tok Khao San what do you think about them?” and “If someone says about Tok Khao San what do you think first?”…..

Tok Khao San was born in 1892, in ancient time the place was large source of commercial rice and form the name’s “Tok Khao San”. In 1982 was the Bangkok celebrated 200^th anniversary which makes the foreigners come to Bangkok for traveling and Hollywood filming and the new word happened was “guesthouse” because at that time this place had no apartment or room to stay for foreigners and they’re leased the rental from Thai family. Next, the foreigners arrived in Bangkok continued and it begins the new word “bag-packer” in 1985. The several years later, the place became to tourist night attraction. Tok Khao San is the popular place in SongKran Festival because foreigners interested and shared this experience to another which makes another traveler come to Bangkok more and more.

Finally, please remember “The Thai girls who is walking, drinking or dancing in Tok Khao San, not everyone is a bitch”…
